CLASSES BEGIN
OCTOBER 4th, 2025
“In the Studio is where imagination, hard work and creativity come together. That is how we create magic!”
What is The Studio?
The Studio at Arts in Blue is more than a dance school—it is our mission in motion. Through Ballet, Modern, Tap, African, and Hip Hop, we provide children and families with a space for artistic discovery, cultural connection, and community building. Every class, led by professional artists, carries the intention of nurturing the next generation with skill, discipline, and joy. From September to June, Saturdays at The Studio (9am–5pm) become a place where knowledge is passed on, creativity is celebrated, and young people gain the confidence to shine on stage and in life.

Classes
Whether you're a novice just beginning your dance journey or a pre-professional honing your technique, our classes are thoughtfully designed to support every stage of development. We carefully place students in levels that challenge and inspire, ensuring they have the time and space to grow at their own pace. With a strong focus on progress, discipline, and passion, we create an environment where hard work is valued, and every dancer can thrive and reach their fullest potential.
*Tuition ranges from $115 - $150 per month
Performances
A key part of our Dance School experience is the opportunity to perform. From the novice to the pre-professional, every student is invited to take part in annual productions that showcase their growth and artistry. Performances are thoughtfully woven into our class structure and typically include seasonal highlights such as our Winter Holiday production, a powerful celebration for Black History Month, and our highly anticipated June Concert. These moments on stage are not just exciting—they're essential to building confidence, presence, and a deep connection to the art of dance.
Your Special Event
Our students have the exciting opportunity to perform at a wide range of community and special events—from weddings and sweet sixteens to political gatherings and church celebrations. These experiences allow dancers, whether novice or pre-professional, to bring their training to life in meaningful and memorable ways. If you’re looking to add a dynamic, professional-level performance to your event, we’d love to collaborate with you. Share your vision, and we’ll bring it to the stage.

Audition Preparation
Students with an interest in attending a specialized High school will need specific information to walk into the room with confidence. From what color tights to wear, to what is a tendu, to how to slate and submit a video reel properly. We can prepare students to find greater success by giving them the necessary tools for this daunting process.
